Dalhousie University

In 2008 the Johnson Scholarship Foundation entered into an agreement with Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to provide matching funds of up to $150,000 per year for the creation of the Johnson Scholarship Foundation Endowment to benefit students with disabilities with financial needs.  The coincides with the launch of the Student Accessibility Center, which will serve students with disabilities at Dalhousie University   In order to qualify for the Foundation grants, Dalhousie University must raise matching donations of $150,000 per year over the term of the agreement.

The result of this agreement will be a $1.5 million endowment to be used exclusively for scholarships for students with disabilities and financial need.
